This Privacy Policy explains how F4 Industries, Inc., referred to as F4, collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains personal information in connection with F4 Drawing Review.
F4 Drawing Review is a business and professional service. The F4 Drawing Review Terms govern purchases and use of the service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Organization Information
We may collect:
- Name and display name.
- Business email address.
- Organization name and membership.
- Account roles and permissions.
- Authentication, multi-factor authentication, and session information.
- Team invitations and account-recovery activity.
1.2 Order and Payment Information
We may collect Order details, selected services and Add-Ons, drawing quantities, prices, billing status, invoice and receipt information, and identifiers supplied by Stripe.
Stripe processes payment-card information. F4 does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in F4 Drawing Review systems.
1.3 Customer Materials and Deliverables
We collect drawings, CAD models, specifications, instructions, project identifiers, and other files or information submitted for a review.
We also collect Deliverables, review findings, annotations, classifications, corrections, download activity, and other information produced through the review workflow.
The self-service service must not be used for ITAR, EAR-controlled, CUI, classified, or similarly restricted technical information unless the parties have signed a separate agreement and F4 has confirmed the approved environment and transfer method in writing.
1.4 Communications
We collect information contained in support requests, delivery-defect notices, refund requests, billing communications, security reports, and other communications with F4.
1.5 Technical, Usage, and Security Information
We may collect:
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser, device, and operating-system information.
- Authentication and session events.
- Pages, routes, and service functions used.
- Upload, processing, delivery, and download events.
- Request identifiers, timestamps, error records, and operational logs.
- Security, abuse-prevention, and fraud-prevention signals.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts.
- Process Orders and maintain billing and payment records.
- Validate submissions and perform the purchased F4 Drawing Review.
- Create, deliver, and make Deliverables available.
- Send transactional notices, including account, payment, processing, and Ready Notice communications.
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, fraud, abuse, and prohibited activity.
- Maintain, test, troubleshoot, and improve F4 Drawing Review as permitted by the Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
3. Customer Materials
Customer Materials are processed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the Terms and any separately signed agreement.
Customers are responsible for determining whether they have authority to submit Customer Materials and for providing any notices required to their personnel, customers, suppliers, or other affected parties.
F4 does not publicly disclose Customer Materials merely because they are processed through F4 Drawing Review.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
F4 Drawing Review uses cookies and similar browser storage required for:
- Authentication and session continuity.
- Account and security protections.
- Multi-factor authentication.
- Remembering selected preferences.
- Preventing fraud and abuse.
This policy does not claim that the current F4 Drawing Review product uses advertising cookies, third-party behavioral advertising, or marketing-profile cookies.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
- To personnel and authorized reviewers who need access to provide or support the service.
- To service providers that support hosting, identity, storage, databases, task processing, payments, and transactional communications.
- To professional advisors, auditors, insurers, and financing sources subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of F4’s business or assets.
- When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect F4, customers, users, or the public.
- At the customer’s direction or with the customer’s consent.
F4 Drawing Review does not sell personal information or disclose it for third-party behavioral advertising.
6. Service Providers
Current service-provider categories include:
- Google Cloud, for application hosting, identity services, databases, object storage, task processing, logging, and related infrastructure.
- Stripe, for Checkout, payment processing, invoices, receipts, refunds, and payment-event records.
- Mailgun, for transactional email delivery and delivery-event records.
Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to F4 and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
7. Security
F4 uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information and Customer Materials against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No system or transmission method is completely secure. Customers are responsible for protecting their credentials, devices, authorized-user access, and downloaded Deliverables.
If F4 confirms a security incident involving personal information, F4 will provide notices required by applicable law and any separately signed agreement.
8. Retention and Deletion
Final Deliverables are ordinarily available for six calendar months after the final Deliverables become available. The platform may display the exact expiration date.
F4 may retain account, Order, payment, acceptance, audit, security, support, and legal records for longer when reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and secure the service.
- Maintain financial and business records.
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Complete routine backup and disaster-recovery cycles.
Deletion requests are subject to legal, contractual, security, backup, and recordkeeping requirements.
9. Choices and Requests
Depending on applicable law and the nature of the request, a person may be entitled to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with that person.
Requests may be sent to support@f4.dev. F4 may need to verify identity, authority, account ownership, and organization affiliation before responding.
Customers may also update certain account and organization information through F4 Drawing Review.
10. International Processing
F4 and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.
Customers are responsible for determining whether their submission and use of the service comply with laws and contractual obligations applicable to them.
11. Children
F4 Drawing Review is a business and professional service and is not directed to children.
F4 does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through F4 Drawing Review.
12. Changes to This Policy
F4 may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the service, providers, practices, or legal requirements.
F4 will publish the updated version and effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or electronically when appropriate.
